CBS RENEWS COOKIE JAR ENTERTAINMENT'S SATURDAY MORNING BLOCK FOR THREE MORE SEASONS

Burbank, CA (February 24, 2009) – Cookie Jar Entertainment and CBS have reached a deal to extend the popular Saturday morning block for an additional three seasons. The new 2009-10 slate, to be announced soon, will feature girls-skewed programming, as well as other educational and informational content with a broad appeal to both girls and boys. Currently, CBS is the home of such hits as "Strawberry Shortcake" and "Horseland". Cookie Jar Entertainment and its predecessor DIC Entertainment have provided children's programming for the CBS block since fall 2006.
